JACKIE HUNDT
Jackie has been working with numbers for more than two decades and while most people cringe at the thought of taxes or bookkeeping, Jackie genuinely enjoys it. Her career began in 2005, and over the years she built deep expertise in personal income tax, estate returns, corporate year‑ends, and bookkeeping.

Jackie spent many years at Turner Moore LLP, where she developed her skills and a strong professional relationship with a firm partner. In 2017, they opened The Tax Advantage with a shared goal: to create a tax practice where clients feel heard, supported, and confident that their accountants are working hard to save them as much tax as possible. With this as their foundation, the business grew quickly.

In 2022, Jackie experienced the sudden loss of her business partner, which brought significant changes including moving the office to Breslau from Kitchener and finally in 2026 to manage the increased workload, she transitioned from a walk‑in office to a remote‑first model, continuing to support clients from home while hosting in‑person corporate meetings at the Waterloo office when needed. Her focus remains unchanged: staying current with evolving tax laws, providing clear and simple filing processes, and offering every client a responsive, trustworthy, and knowledgeable experience.

When she isn’t helping clients navigate the world of tax, Jackie enjoys a peaceful life in New Hamburg with her husband and their farm dog Mighty, whose tail never stops wagging. Together they love taking care for their chickens and cows on their property, all of whom have names and plenty of personality. For Jackie, home is a place of laughter, animals, and the simple joys that matter most.
